    I'm so excited, I created a BYC page for the building of my coop. It's still a work in progress, and I'm still learning. Hope it will be done by Thanksgiving!! The chickens are quickly outgrowing the brooder!

    I don't know if my coop will be finished in time! We're using beams and hand-milled timber from an elderly gentleman friend who recently passed away. He ran his own saw mill. The beams are oak! The coop is going to be 12' x 18' raised with a run on both sides and underneath. UPDATES ARE...
