Thanks! I knew F1 referred to first generation, etc. P stands for Parental, the parent birds F stands for Filial , F1 is the first generation, F2 the second & so on B stands for Backcross, F1 mated to P gives B1 David But never knew what the 'F' stood for. Lisa
