There are so many chicks in the hatchers it's plumb scary. I see I lost 2 because an empty shell slipped over pipped but not hatched eggs and suffocated them --- HAD to go in that hatcher and clean out some shells. Spent the day today moving 50-ish chicks from the spare room to a new 'outside...

First chick out is a Barred Rock!! No more updates tonight Hatchers are in the bedroom and I was just informed that if I came in 'one more time with the flashlight', me and all the hatchers would be put out in the yard. I can take a hint. Lisa
