Thanks, but oooh, you haven't seen the chicks that are coming from the dark-skinned NN girls --- they are just precious.
I'm hoping to get a dark-skinned solid colored blue/black frizz from this group.
I'll add more pics later.

Hi! The brooders are those plastic storage containers.
I had these three different NN crosses in three different hatchers so I'd be able to tell 'who's from what cross'.
Til I get them marked, I've got them in 3 different brooders.
These are from the Jersey Giant hens and the NN roo.
They...
28, 17, and 46 = 91 new hatchlings in the brooders.
*insert maniacal laughter* They're not done yet. Three wet chicks and a few more pipped still in the hatchers.
The bator w/ fan and turner had the best results.
The other 2, still-air and hand turned, not quite as good, but not shabby...
There are so many chicks in the hatchers it's plumb scary.
I see I lost 2 because an empty shell slipped over pipped but not hatched eggs and suffocated them --- HAD to go in that hatcher and clean out some shells.
Spent the day today moving 50-ish chicks from the spare room to a new 'outside...
First chick out is a Barred Rock!!
No more updates tonight Hatchers are in the bedroom and I was just informed that if I came in 'one more time with the flashlight', me and all the hatchers would be put out in the yard.
I can take a hint.
