    Got two blacks and a blue :) the blue I had to help most of the way, it was trying to come out closer to the pointy end! I am very grateful and surprised that the two eggs I investigated before they were ready made it! Two that I did not interfere with did not hatch all the way.

    So I investigated one that chirped as I was making a breather hole. It did not yet break through the white membrane, but I saw its beak and broke it through..can they peep before internally pipping?! Or am I misunderstanding the air cell? I hope I didn't ruin it 😭

    Most of the eggs are so dark it's hard to tell. I assumed the chirping was a sign that they had internally pipped and we're now using their lungs? I really can't see well enough to see the beak

    Hello! I am incubating some shipped Marans eggs. On day 18 they started chirping, and the eggs would rock around a little from the chicks moving inside. I thought it was a little early to be hearing them but decided to let them be. Today is day 20, and I no longer hear any chirping nor movement...
