Have you tried putting the crushed eggshells in with the oyster shells? I mix mine together. Now that my ducks are laying again, that is the first bowl they head to when I let them out in the morning.

I have my oyster shell in a separate bowl and always available. At first my young ducks weren't interested in it. I crushed up some chicken and ducks eggs shells and added that which got them more interested.
