    I would never in a billion years give my chickens salt of any kind. Too much salt will kill a chicken.

    Don't give them too much. Gatorade and drinks like it have a lot of salt that chickens don't need.

    I give my chickens a water pan that they can stand in and it works great. My easter egger, May, especially likes it. They even like to get in it when it's not that hot.

    Great idea! It got up to 113 degrees here last year and will probably do it again. I am going to try this "swamp cooler" out.
