    Thank you, Steve! I thought I heard that they weren't fertile but it was so long ago... I must have confused that part in my mind with the crosses like Peafowl and Guinea. With the Beltsville, what percentage was fertile? I wonder if it's possible with peas... just because we never heard of...

    Just wondering, has anyone ever heard of parthenogenesis in peafowl eggs? I have heard of it with turkeys, and if I recall the offspring are male. I think I also heard that they are sterile, but I'm not sure on that... Can it happen?
