    No hatcheries carry booted bantams, so a feed store wont have them unless a private breeder is supplying them with chicks.

    Unbearded D'uccles do pop up occasionally. I've seen some poor quality ones from McMurry that were beardless. @MontmorenciCoop where did you get those chicks? Booted bantams are a rare breed, so unless these are from a breeder it is unlikely they are Booted bantams.

    The Porcelains comb is looking pretty thick and bright pink, especially compared to the Mille Fleur, which is making me think he is a cockerel. D'uccle roos are known for being friendly, so hopefully he works out in your flock!

    Not a very rare breed... maybe uncommon at the most. D'uccles are great little birds! I used to have one, and she was the friendliest chicken I've ever had. The other chicken is a Mille Fleur D'uccle, and a pullet. Based on the recent photos, the Porcelain is probably a cockerel. 🙁
