They're silver appleyards. would it be fine to give them just the crushed up pellets or is it better to mix it with the starter? The starter brand is bomgaars I think, don't think it says it has niacin on the bag but I'll try googling.

Bought 2 baby ducklings yesterday from a feed store and apparently they dont sell feed for ducks, I got unmedicated chick starter which I heard was okay for them. Today I picked up feed that said was %18 niacin but they were pellets. I was told to not feed them pellets until they were 2 or 3...
