Sticky Chicky
1-2 cups Cooked Oatmeal (above photo cooked in whole milk)
1/4 - 1 cup Layer Crumble
1/4 - 1/2 cup Scratch
a handful Dried cranberries
a big dollop Plain Yogurt
Should have a kind of sticky crumbly granola texture
Served at 90-110 degrees. Treats...
This is precisely why I add the yogurt and layer crumble to my oatmeal/scratch mix. I only offer it on very cold mornings... and then every third or fourth batch I make I use milk to cook the oats in too.
Right... most broths are considered very salty, which is why I asked.
So... I googled several brands of broths and soups out there. Most broths out there seem to have about 800 mg or 1/5 teaspoon per cup of broth... Many Soups seem to have 650mg per 1/2 cup or nearly 2/5 teaspoon per cup...
Speaking of Pumpkin... Mine like it raw... I just set that bad boy out the day after Halloween and let them pick off of it for a few days until it starts to go moldy, then I chuck it in the compost bin...
They love it.
