She is about a year and a half. I just looked up membrane tail. It’s what it looks like, but the shell is hard and the tail is curled. Strange.

I don’t think so. We’ve had those before. Other than that thing, the rest of the egg is normal.

It does look like a balloon doesn’t it? It’s weird.

This was on one of our eggs today. It is pliable and the shell is formed under it but it is coming out of the egg. We’ve had weird eggs before but I haven’t seen one like this. Sorry about the double picture.
