Alrighty, I'm wrong about them not being pure - but not wrong about them being boys. My marans never came in with red on the wings, but my crosses sure did. But I did look at some Marans breeder pics here and the males do have red leakage in the wing triangle.

Yup, definitely both boys. Ya know, I always forget to look where people are from before responding. You got through to me with "bloody" though. (my family is Australian, so I'm used to hearing it ) I still don't think they are pure marans with the red leakage in the wing area.

They are both cockerels. And not pure BCM, but crosses. Pure BCM's don't get the red in the wing area.
