A little off subject but the family is going offshore next week to do some serious fishing. Swordfish, tuna, amberjack, etc. south of Venice in the Mexican Gulf. Hope to have pictures.

Interesting. We can have semi-autos, also with a 26" overall requirement. Shotguns have to be 18+" and rifles 16+". Sometimes a "rifle" can be classified as a 'pistol' if has never has a shoulder stock and a barrel <12".

Looks like a fun gun. Should take care of any predators short of a bear. Low recoil and a wide range of ammo, bird shot to slugs

I had to look that up. Beautiful rifle. If I recall they were very popular about 100 years ago when the Swiss were upgrading and the rifles were surplus. It must be hard to find one in good shape now. Please keep us up to date.

We are in the city but our favorite get away is to get a houseboat for a week and go out on Henderson Lake. Fish, explore, swim with the alligators.:celebrate:wee:celebrate
