As much as I Love hearing what other people have I'm not too keen on admitting what I have or lost. I'm more an accumilator than a collector. The number is somewhere between embarrassing and alarming. ;)
I did some reenacting and I still love the old flintlocks.
I was going to do a short missive about Smith & Wesson moving from Springfield, MA to Maryville, TN.

Well, The trip was interesting. Just as the action was starting I had to call it off for a family / medical emergency. The crew, the boat, the weather and the seas were perfect and I highly recommend it. Maybe we'll try again soon.

Interesting. We can have semi-autos, also with a 26" overall requirement. Shotguns have to be 18+" and rifles 16+". Sometimes a "rifle" can be classified as a 'pistol' if has never has a shoulder stock and a barrel <12".
All my uncles (crack shots) hunted rabbit with .410's in the sugar cane fields and swamps in south Louisiana. One had a double barrel I am still in love with.:bun:bun:bun
I had to look that up. Beautiful rifle. If I recall they were very popular about 100 years ago when the Swiss were upgrading and the rifles were surplus. It must be hard to find one in good shape now. Please keep us up to date.
We are in the city but our favorite get away is to get a houseboat for a week and go out on Henderson Lake. Fish, explore, swim with the alligators.:celebrate:wee:celebrate
