Well that wasn't very good. I normally like legs and thighs, but that was the darkest dark meat I've ever seen except for maybe duck. The breast was good though.

Must be a happy roo then. He has 8 in his harem and I've never heard him crow even once. As long it stays that way, I suppose I'll keep him. One peep though and it's the stew pot for him. LOL

This Barred Rock was purchased as a hen about 3-4 months ago, but now I have my doubts. His comb seems to be growing exponentially the last month or so and I thought I caught him mounting one of the other hens.
