Her eyes seem clear and alert. Shes just been laying in the coop floor this morning. I gave her the calcium & vit d tablet this morning. Will keep updating.

Okay she’s never eyes closed just laying down and chilling. I’ll double check the bright or dull factor tomorrow.

I’ve watched her today and she’s kinda pecked around but spent more time laying down. I’ve checked on her this afternoon and she’s laying on the coop floor. Should I bring her back in or just leave her be?

Yes, first clot. I am still giving calcium daily I still have her inside. We did a warm bath last night (and a blow out lol she loves the hair dryer) looks like no clots this morning. I’ll give her a calcium tablet and release her to the flock to free range today and check on her this afternoon...

Okay we had to treat our chicks about a month ago after being in the coop with our older flock. The chicks had a medication dose and the rest of the flock drank the same water so it was more of a maintenance dose for them.

Here is a photo from just now. Should I do the bath again or just release her to the flock and make sure to get the tablets in her daily?

Today she has either some bloody stool or a blood clot about the size of a dime but still no egg or anymore shell. I gave her another tablet this morning. @Eggcessive no other hens are having issues. Our goats knocked down our oyster shells so they have been scattered on the ground but I have refilled and set back up the feeder for the oyster shells. I would have never known she was having issues if it wasn’t for finding the egg shell stuck to her.

How will I know when she’s better again? She still seems like she’s trying to push something out and I’m not sure if I should try feeling around in there again or not?
