Thanks. I decided that it couldn't hurt so I opened it and sopped it up. I have left it alone now. I also put the plugs back in. I hope it lowers a good amount and works out.

I have some eggs on lockdown and I accidently added too much water to it and the humidity went up to 84 so far. I can't open it to get the water out and I didn't want to leave it if they might drown. I think I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. Is there any advice or something I could do...
