I don’t know how loud yours will get, but a RIR Roo I had years ago tried to wake the whole neighborhood! It was a good thing I kept the neighbors supplied with eggs, otherwise I’d have been in trouble. Everything was great with him until he flogged our 3 year old daughter. After watching the “suspect” for about 15 minutes, I noticed different, dark colored feathers coming in on the neck. I am almost 100% sure this little one is a cockerel. He just acts differently, walks differently. I’m still after a pic, though!- Hensintexas

They are all lovely, except for the EE - he is handsome, indeed! Aren’t they fun to watch? I actually have a RIR that is ”supposed” to be a pullet, and looks like a cockerel. BUT, he/she won’t stop moving long enough for me to take a clear picture! :barnie- Hensintexas
