I think another of the moves you should be looking into is collecting data about chickens that will support any objection you may have to them.

If you sign up and find out it's illegal you can then ask for a special permit on the basis that you are a member and the 4-H will support you.

I know your looking at them for the benefits of having them. But mostly as PETS. do you already have Chickens?

It looks like you where discussing the 4-H club and how that could benefit you I was thinking though that if you can not cull them for personal use that would indicate your allowed to have them
