You only need a male if you want to have fertile eggs . I have an all girl flock 13 girl ducks, and four of them are runners , all very happy. No need drake -

I have 9 lady ducks and 4 new lady ducklings , we’ve tried a couple times to have a drake with them in the past and they didn’t work out for us. So yes all girls is great
