    Yikes. I’ve had a rooster in the past and he was mean to the hens. I would keep a rooster if it was tame. But two? Do people keep more than one? Would they fight?

    The feed store said it was a lavender Orpington. He/she is about 5-6 weeks old. I’m hoping a hen. I am concerned about the long tail feathers. There are two that are identical. Both have longer tail feathers and a little bigger combs than the other breeds we have that are the same age.
