Hello everyone! Just wanted to post an update about this sweet girl. It's been years since shenwas on deaths door step But shes doing well. Shes 5 in a half years old and my favorite girl.
Just to update you guys.....she is doing well. She is eating like no other and also drinking. It took a round of baytril to get rid of whatever she had (I'm thinking e.coli, thank you Kathy for helping figure that out). She has become healthy again. Her recheck CBC came back good, her WBC...
Thank you. Yes it's actually interesting. She is my langshan from a hatchery and my other langshan is from a breeder. My breeder one fits the standards pretty well. This sweet girl, her leg feathers have grown so much I keep telling her she's going to look like a Cochin. :)
Good morning, she is walking around, pooping, and eating. Her poop is back to brown and a decent again. I have nooooooooo clue. My husband and I were talking and maybe she ate too much grass and didn't drink enough water. That's our guess. Not only is she a chicken but also a cow. Loves...
I know!! I don't know what's going on with her, but it throwing me through an emotional roller coaster! If she keeps it up she is going to end up on Lifetime movie network.
Lol.....I don't even know what to think right now. How fast does Valbazen work?? I'm so thrown off right now...I wonder if she will stay like this. Maybe?? Who knows
I am sooooooo confused. I go in to check on her and she's walking around eyes open.....next thing I know she's showing herself out to go outside to go pick on my other langshan. .??????? What is going on with this chicken?! Deaths door step by morning, picking on my other langshan by evening...
Well I wormed her and tubed her some food. We will see how she does. It's weird she wants to act like a chicken. She goes to move, moves a little, but then she changes her mind and closes her eyes. Can the antibiotics upset her??? She was seriously fine last night, she had her medicine at a...
Baytril is some good stuff. I will de worm her....why not. Nothing else to loose at this point. Will the wormer be ok to use with TMS? Any contraindications?
She was wormed with rooster booster about 4 months ago. She I'd due for a round of Valbazen, but if was waiting for her health to improve. The vet gave me TMS. 1/4 pill every 12 hours. I have never heard of TMS before.
Well not so good news. We woke up today and she was ruffled/droopy and closing her eyes. Back to the initial symptoms, but this time her crop is still working. This leads me to believe its Merecks disease. Last night her poop looked as normal as ever. The vet said if it is Merecks disease...
