I just got the BR’s on Saturday

Since I just got them, should I keep them in the pen for a certain length of time before I start letting them out?

Is there a good time of day to let them out? Is it hard to get them back in?

I think the biggest predator I’m going to have to worry about is the guard cat. She guards them while they’re in the pen, but I think she’d eat them if I let them out.

Well, I was going for Cute - for my wife’s liking Easy - for my kid’s learning Smaller - so I could move it easily.

I’m at work, so those are the only pics I have for now. I have 3 that are barred rock and one is a silver lace. I had her before I bought the trio.

I had some bantam hens and a rooster. I got rid of them and only have 3 hens and 1 rooster left. I did deviate from the plan just a little bit. It didn’t call for a guard cat, but I thought that was a nice addition!
