So there are 2 tri colors in those photos. It’s a normal coloration in Anconas but not desirable. They still lay great eggs & produce great meat but not exactly what you want to breed back into your flock.
You want the Holstein pattern(think dairy cow) this can be in black, chocolate...
Well I’m officially a little over a year into Ancona ownership & I had my 1st ever (with any breed) broody momma!
She successfully hatched 8 eggs. She started with 10 that she collected her self (combination of her own & the other ducks).
