    That's a really nice space, I want it. I think you have a good chance with her being a silky. They go kind of trance like anyhow when they brood. She'll be able to see her flock and really she shouldn't want to even get off the nest at all right now. Maybe it won't matter that there's chicken...

    Hi Technodoll, I'm not an expert on this, but my understanding is as long as they haven't been really cold for longer then what you describe and she hasn't been on them and then gotten off they should be fine as long as she stays with it now that she's started. Wow, that was a run on sentence...
