    Yay! My Barred Rock laid her first egg for me on Christmas Eve and has been giving me an egg a day, and now our Buff just laid her first egg today! Woo hoo! I'm so excited to have fresh eggs every day now! .... I guess it's time to make some pound cake (takes 8-9 eggs) to use up that 18 pack...
