    What's the average dressed meat bird size?

    Last year I raised Rock Cornish Hens X. Didn't know that's what I had. They grow in 8 weeks. The smallest dressed out at 7 lbs. and the largest dressed out at 8 lbs. I'm not sure, but I'm thinking its not how much they weigh but how old they are. The older they are the tougher the meat...
