It wasn't actually twins. Either the twin was absorbed very early, or there never was one. Do you have any candling videos or pics? What day is it on and what breed is it?

Aw, definitely get some sleep. Sleep well! Yep! I'll be on more if I know they're getting close. And my laptop charger is finally coming this week so I'll be able to be on on my laptop early in the mornings.

I assisted a guinea keet in hatching (not really assisted, more like did everything). That never internally pipped. I opened the air cell, "internally pipped it" by putting a tiny hole in the membranes so it could breathe, rubbed oil on the membrane every couple hours, kept humidity high, and...

That's good! I have assisted A LOT too, I'll be here if you need anything. I'm not on much in the middle of the day though.

That's awesome! I think you're right, they do look like twins. Assisting is not hard. Have you read this article? It's pretty long, but read it all. It's extremely good. https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/guide-to-assisted-hatching-for-all-poultry.72886/#lg=_xfUid-1-1591552275&slide=0...

Wow! Awesome! Can you post a candling pic? I'd love to see. I really hope they make it! We'll figure out what to do as it comes. You can't do anything until one of both are really shadowing in the air cell or best case scenario both internally pip. Super exciting, fingers crossed!
