I figured it out. My husband put insulation in the eaves before he put the hardware cloth up. I didn’t know he did it. So basically only ventilation was the exhaust fan. I drilled holes on the opposite side that night and it fixed the problem. He is a city boy and I wasn’t outside when he was...
update. Drilled 4 1” holes and problem solved. Found out when I had my husband put hardware cloth up around the openings of the coop he put roll in insulation in. So all of the ventilation was covered. He has never owned chickens.
Thank you so much. I am horrible about second guessing myself. I was raised on a farm but always had my dad and grandma to bounce the issues and ideas off. It’s a lot easier being a farm hand than it is the ceo that’s for sure.
I do have the exhaust fan that is open ventilation. I am thinking I need more. I am assuming the sofits are open but not sure. The shed was on the property and my hubs was the one that put all the hardware cloth over all openings and I didn’t think to ask him if they were blocked or not.
