It may well vary from flock to flock depending on which silver gene hens were used in the Red Sex Link cross. When my Red Sex Links had offspring, color sexing was reliable maybe 60% of the time, and having done some meticulous egg counts, there was somewhat of a drop off in egg production...- Michael OShay

X2 on Fred's Hens. Since Red Sex Links are hybirds which will not breed true, the offspring will just be barnyard mutts. They should be decent layers, although likely not as good as their RSL mothers.- Michael OShay
