    Any bird that lays green and pink eggs is not a true Ameraucana as the standard calls for only blue eggs. Your two chicks are both EEs. The light one is in shadow but its legs appear to the the greenish tint common to many EEs rather than the slate blue legs called for by Ameraucana standards.

    If a male and female of two different color varieties breed, both the Ameraucana Breeders Club and the APA considers them to be Easter Eggers as they will not conform to the required Ameraucana color standards. True Ameraucanas have some of the toughest standards of any breed.
