    Yep they are huge. I never have seen my female eat egg shells maybe because I keep oyster shell out for all my layers but you could try. Then you'll know whether to gift them to your neighbor.

    It could be affection. I see my 2 geese showing affection to each other so maybe with your gander not there that is what is being shown. Putting neck over head can be a sign of affection also. So sorry you lost your gander. Geese are so attached to one another I am sure your females are...
