My emden is alot more protective of his mate,{ muscovy duck} lately but every year i think she'll not lay any eggs since she is going on 8 years now, but last year she did lay but finally didn't want to brood. One day I hope to get my emden a real emden goose for his mate.

Can you get a product called Vetericyn? TSC has it it comes in a spray and is for infection and wounds, I think you would be able to treat him and there won't be added pain, this stuff is great. I hope he heals quickly for you. Geese don't need extra heat.
