They should be or if you hit one while helping then you back off and wait a while before helping again. if they were shrink wrapped it would look dried out. I think your right to just wait, I know it must be hard to sit by and not do anything at least I can't sit an stare at the egg I'm waiting...

Does it look like the membrane is dried out if so then you'll have to help them out.

Hatching in a bator is foreign to me I use ducks, but i would think it would be better to use caution now after this little one has hatched with yolk sticking out. I think it was Celtic yesterday telling someone to put their duckling inside a round bowl so it can't kick the yolk and cause...

So sorry, I was so hoping, for you. I just about gave up on an egg my Muscovy duck is sitting , she had 5 and last week 2 looked like they were rotten so i tossed them and 2 were clear, so it went bye bye, that meant she had 1 left and i wasn't sure about it, but let her keep it anyway, candled...
