I have a hen who lays shell-less eggs (in the nest box) randomly. I have calcium supplemented feed and oyster shells (and sometimes feed their shells back to them). I often have calcium deposits on other shells, so they are getting enough. For some reason, Jazzy just lays eggs without shells...
