    Y'all asked for an update on our reversed color SLW gal. Here she is feathering out at 6 weeks. A close up of her lacing shows black in the center and the silver is on the edges. Here is her sister.... You can still tell quite a difference.

    She ordered from Hoover hatchery in Iowa. Think it could really be a mutt? I thought hatcheries were good about keeping them separate. I never even thought about her feathering out different from the down. Looking forward to seeing what happens though!

    No the lady said that they were all girls. She was just too cool looking not to grab.

    This came out of a ladies hatchery chicks. It was the only one that looked like this out of a set of 25 silver laced wyandottes. Can reverse coloring happen or is it a different breed?
