Right. Yea I definitely understand what you mean about hatchery vs. Breeder birds. But Cackle Hatchery dosent offer gold laced. Just Light, Dark and Buff.

The legs are black. The legs on my Dan Powell GLB are like greyish.

It looks like the main noticeable difference is at the "elbow" of the legs. The males make a sideways "V" shape. Where as the females just come down straight? Is this a clue? I also have another question. I posted a picture of a mystery Brahma that came in a group of buff brahmas from cackle...
