I haven't had a male chick in FOREVER!!! My roosters don't produce male chicks, they all produce female chicks! And I kind of want a rooster now and then, but my roos just don't produce male off-spring!!! If the duck eggs were drakes, could you keep them? Or are you over-run with ducks...

I didn't mean EAT them!!!! I guess you'd just have extra drakes! LOL Or you might have 2 females!!!

I came pretty close to all my Buff Opingtons going broody last year! LOL My EE hen Julia puffed up this morning when my BO hen tryed to steal her nest, but she wasn't broody cause she layed her egg and left. But I mean she was REALLY PUFFED UP!!! So I dunno what her deal was!

I had 2 cochins go broody on 20 eggs, and they hatched all of them out and only 1 chick died!!! When one would go eat drink etc the other hen would steal all the eggs! But I never had any crack or noth'in! Best of luck 2 you!
