She lays a green egg with spots. I knew her eggs were going to be tiny, but for a quail and for her size I expected that her eggs would be smaller? Will try to get some pictures on her either today or tomorrow.

Thanks for all the nice comments about the quail! I was gone all weekend, that why I didn't reply to anything in awhile. The female still hasn't layed an egg yet! How long until she will? I really wonna incubate some eggs.

I knew they're the wild color, just didn't know if there was a "Color" you called them ... Thanks! Thats odd! That the way this little male is! lol he is so layed back and isn't scared of me.

I would suggest getting baby button quail instead of adults. That way you can tame them. These two I have are very stand offish and hate to be messed with and just wild as can be. But they're the cutest little critters to have!! I have my own TV in my room!!! LOL
