Not that I have a huge experience, but I never thought to much of the dual purpose birds for eating, EXCEPT for the Delawares. I think they are a nice table bird.

I personally like the Cornish cross birds for the dinner table. My hobby is raising our food as much as I can without making it work...a fine balance.
