    That won't fix my Demon. I used the football method, which only worked alittle bit. He's now pure evil. Tried offering him some grass yesterday, & all he wanted was to try biting my hand through the gate.

    I let him out of the coop most of the time, or avoid him, when I enter the coop. My black Sumatra, Demon is a nightmare, which I have to deal with.

    Silkie is just like any other chicken, but flavor wise is a bit different. Tastes both gamey, & sweet.

    I have a mean silkie rooster, named Cinder. Only reason he stays, is because he's my only black silkie, & he's cute. He's my cute jerk. All he does is bite me, no kicking.

    If he's a hormonal jerk, then put him in prison for awhile, like until he matures enough to behave. If that doesn't work, & he continues being aggressive, there's two other options, rehoming, or the thing you didn't want mentioned.
