Well, they really are sweet birds. I have a roo that got really mad at me when I sent his brother to a breeder. He was lonely, and I had to start integrating him with rest of the flock. Then hens were more ok with him, but my BIG roo had to put him in his place several times. Rotten snot. BUT...

Ditto. Hen, comb is too small at this age to be a roo, and should be crowing also. SOO, if you hear a crow that sounds like a roo with a sore throat, that'd be him. BUT its a her. Pretty sure. Nice feathering.
