So sad to see that Bob has passed, he sure had a wealth of knowledge that he was willing to share with anyone that would listen. I hope his birds find good hands that cherish the history of their lines as much as he had.
Bob, I really like the even width of the body he has! Also it looks like he has the proper break in the back between the black in the hackles and the black saddle feathers coming in.
The standard will give you a reference to size compared to OEGB, I think they are pretty close in size, though most OEGB are too small. Only breeder I know that has them, is in Northern Michigan, and doesn't really sell anything.
Bob, I got them from Bret Hitchings, I cant remember who he said he got his start from. The skulls on these birds are amazing also, the heads on the pullets seem to be wider than the skulls on others old hens.
Here is a Buff Brahma bantam I had. There is something about these guys that make me like em. They have great personalities, and I think they are stunning birds.
