In this picture the bird behind him is 3 months older than him.
This silver pied on the left is 2 months older.
All these birds are older than him at least with two months.
If anyone remembers this big white Spalding chick, he is now 4 months exactly and he is now bigger than all other chicks! He is even bigger than his siblings which are 6 and half months old
I need to take new pics tomorrow for him to show you how big he is now!
Mine also came from different trios, this spalding pied chick, an opal silver pied chick and a spalding bronze chick. I notice that my bronze black shoulder chicks didn't get Twisted Tibia, maybe they have better genetics? But i still believe it came from high protein feed.
I tried almost everything since he was young, i took him to a vet who also told me it can't be treated, mainly because he get older, he is almost 4 months now, the other two who get better were younger.
It's really weird, I keep hearing about people feeding their chicks high protein feed until they are a year old without having any problems! I will hatch another pretty chicks like him next summer, hopefully, as long as my bronze silver pied chicks are doing well I'm fine LOL
This is him,
His leg is worse than it looks in this picture, i'm more careful with their protein, i didn't get any leg issues after these chicks, lesson learned
Well, i'm waiting for his day to come, i can't do it myself, i know he will just get worse, but he loves me, he is the only one that follows me around, and he can still sleep on the perch with the others.
His leg twisted outwards, i tried @Dylansmom way to get him better, they were three not just this one, after taping them daily for six weeks the other two got better, but this one didn't, maybe because he was older, he was 7 weeks old when his leg started twisted.
As you know things are different here, if you were living here you will never hope those eggs to be clear Silver pied peafowls in any color worth a lot here.
This chick has pipped from the pointy end so he got some help, he even didn't have any curled toe, normally mine got curled toes if they hatched with some help. Its a spalding white, my only white chick this season, coming from a spalding pied hen.
He is a big one, he is already weighting...
