Oh good to know our advisor has us blow dry them with a special dryer that only uses cold air.
I have done a lot of research about different shampoo and i have found a brand that I like and works well for them.
Thank you for sharing all of your experiences at your fair and congratulations!🎊 I have had many experiences at fairs while showing my birds at my most recent fair my barred rock got reserved best bird of show and my polish hen got best of her class! I normally bathe my birds in a normal soap...
Yep!
For the new coop we are building the only spot we're doing chicken coop is the front where the door is and little air holes here and their like windows.
Yep you guessed it that's exactly what he does! :gig
we are going to try a different brand of chicken wire in the new coop to see if that works better.
Okay
So I probably should have said this first but we started giving our show birds ivermectin once a month in January 2021 because we have a big show coming up around the end of March so we didn't want the birds to have mites.
( the dosage I give them is one drop per bird)
Thank you,
I am pretty sure pepper my white crested black cockerel broke his feathers by rubbbing them on the chicken wire in his coop.
it's only him in his coop because he gets a little aggressive with the hens and because we separate our hens and roosters before shows.
I can send pictures...
Hi,
I was wondering if you could put coconut oil on chickens to fix their feathers?
I was also wondering if anyone had any methods to fix broken feathers or ones that are splitting.
