I cut the hole in the side as a window then realized that was a dumb idea so I out the styrofoam piece back in and made one on top. It did kind of come in handy though with the temp swings because if it got a little too hot/ humid I could open it a little or I could shut it a little usually...

Ok ok. So I may as well just save the money and use my crappy temp swinging incubator because I'm going to get the same results. Also I wonder if that's why my fish always died????☹️

Can I ask the reason? Just so I have more of an idea for what I should look for because I honestly also have no idea what to look for lol

I HATE my homemade incubator. The temp and humidity swings are so frustrating because it looks fine and it'll be fine for a couple hrs then all of a sudden the humidity is way up and then I lose most of my eggs. I don't have a very large flock so I don't need a large incubator I'm looking for...
