Well, they sure are girls, and they sure are pretty, and those little ingrates should thank you for such a nice run that looks really secure and seems to have a pleasant spot!
It could be the dogs I suppose, and good riddence to the nasty one, but really, my hens seem to get real accustomed to...

Stop feeding them apples! Some apples, or a few peels/scraps are one thing, but a lot of apples seems to interfere with egg laying. No idea why, but this is 'old wisdom' that I was taught by an elderly friend, and an aunt long ago.
I'd also block most of the nests, and keep a sharp eye on...
