    I only raise/sell purebred chicken/chicks as well, i have bantams, silkies, polish and a couple of bard rock, i also have pigeons and quails, bobwhites and coturnix. The one week old polish chicks here go for 10$ each and that's how i plan to make money.

    Good idea, mine can't free range because they live on my rooftop, i do let them out of their cages to run around but there isn't any dirt or grass, i do feed them scraps as well, but i find my hens calmer and friendlier, but it all depends on the breed tho.

    Yes my man but 10$ per bird times 90 bird is 900$ per year so add 5 roosters and that's 50$ extra money, business wize that is a loss. Unless you harvest the meat or use them for breeding, but if they are in a pen or coop as 5 roosters for no reason then it's a waste of money and space but again...
