I soaked the sponges and wrang them out just a little...the moisture lasted all thru hatching. If they do start to dry out you can just pop the corner open for a second, pull the sponges out one by one and re wet them I also left both of the red plugs out thru incubtion and lockdown for better...

I use 4 sponges in the LGs...I put one in each corner right on top of the screen. The sponges hold moisture better than washclothes Good luck
