You have it set to only search for posts by you and to only search that specific thread. It should not find posts by other members nor should it find posts made in other threads let alone other forums. All I know is that I always have to switch it to Relevance to find what I am looking for.

When using this method, it is automatically set to find the most recent. Click on the More tab and select Relevance and try again.
