Freshly collected same day, definitely not frozen. I’ve noticed the shell color being darker than usual on the ones that have turned out to be green as well. They don’t smell and they don’t float. I still haven’t eaten them though. Not worth the risk.
We’ve had a significant decrease in egg production over the past few months. Down to 5-8 per day from 14. Now I’m seeing some eggs with green yokes! As a side note we have TONS of post oak trees and a bumper crop of acorns this year so they are eating acorns like crazy since they are free range...
